I’m a physicist at UT Austin . I’m working on a branch of Instiki (BZR repository , tarball) which sends XHTML+MathML+SVG to capable browsers. As of Version 0.16.3, that branch is also the main branch of Instiki.
The default (math-enabled) input syntax is Markdown+itex format. The itex2MML Ruby bindings are the only external dependency.
